Process Handwritten Documents in Automation Anywhere - In this blog we will discuss as to how using IQ Bot the data can be extracted from hand written documents using Automation Anywhere.

As in our earlier blogs you would have seen the working of IQ Bots and how it is useful to process documents when it comes to unstructured documents that we receive as input from the business. So, in today's blog we would be discussing one such scenario where most often we receive handwritten documents in the form of pdf and images. But using normal task bots you cannot extract the data from these documents as these are unidentifiable using the pdf action available in the pdf package. So, in order to process such type of documents you need the help of IQ Bot which has the capability to extract data from these types of handwritten documents and extract the data in the CSV file.

So now you would see the steps in detail as to how you can extract or retrieve the data from handwritten documents into the CSV file using the IQ Bots.

• Login to IQbot using the credentials provided to you.
• Open the learning instance page once you login to your IQBot.
• Create a new learning instance by clicking on the new learning instance button.
• Provide the various details such as learning instance name, language of the document, uploading documents which you want to train, define the fields which you want to extract from the document, and click on create an instance.
• Once you click on creating instance button documents will be analyzed based on some background AI (Artificial Intelligence) and ML (Machine Learning) Models. If the algorithm identifies the document, then it will  go into the success folder, if the document is not recognized, then it will go into the unclassified folder, if there is some error in recognizing the field value then it will go into the invalid folder.
• After the document is identified, then the training page will be opened. Here you will have to train your fields i.e. the form fields and the table fields.
• After you have trained the document you can click see extraction results which will show you the output on the basis of the training done by you. If you are satisfied with the output then you can click on save and go to the next group to train the document else you can correct the field if you think the field output is not correct.
• You will have to repeat the previous step until all the documents are not being trained.
